Senior Account Executive
We’re looking for ambitious, energetic and creative individuals to fill our senior account executive positions. Candidates must have 3–4 years public relations experience, preferably with an agency and/or consumer products. Food and wine experience is a plus; strong media relations and writing skills are a must. Job duties include: program development and execution, media and client relations and budget management. Account Executive
We’re currently searching for an ambitious, energetic and creative individual to join our staff in an account executive role. Candidates must have 1–2 years public relations experience, preferably with an agency and/or consumer products. Strong writing skills, event planning experience and organization/attention to detail are a must. Additional job duties include program execution and media relations. Summer Internships
Hunter Public Relations offers full-time (35-40 hours per week) paid summer internships to qualified candidates from late April or May–late August. The internship term lasts approximately 7–10 weeks and start and stop dates are mutually agreed upon between the agency and intern.

  • A basic understanding of public relations, its purposes and tools
  • A positive, can-do attitude
  • Solid writing skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • PRSSA experience or involvement (desired, but not required)

All 2008 summer internship spots have been filled. Applications for 2009 summer internships will be accepted from November 15, 2008–March 31, 2009. Selected intern candidates may be contacted during this period for an interview (phone or in-person) and the finalists will be notified on or around April 15th 2009. Fall & Winter Internships
Hunter Public Relations may also offer internships in the Fall (September–December) & Winter (January–April), depending on the firm’s need. Applications are accepted from qualified candidates able to work a minimum of 15 hours per week.
