With historic road travel expected in the summer of 2025 as families sought more affordable vacation options, HUNTER worked with Kindle to launch the first-ever Kindle Backseat Book Crew, a virtual book club designed for kids traveling near or far. Partnering with Josh Gad, dad of two and beloved actor best known for his role as Olaf in Frozen, the campaign reimagined the back seat as the ultimate “readtrip.” Through a hero video for both Amazon and talent social channels, parenting influencers encouraging families to join the Crew, and a microsite for families to sign up and joining to receive a Backseat Book Crew Bundle, the Backseat Book Crew positioned Kindle Kids as a device that makes the journey just as exciting as the destination while driving awareness and purchase consideration among parents and inspiring a love of reading for kids during the summer months.
