WHOA Collection

With the significant disparity in oral health care access in communities of color, LISTERINE collaborated with HUNTER (and partner agencies)* to raise awareness of the need to increase diversity in dentistry and improve access to oral healthcare within the Black community. We leaned on LISTERINE’s sensorial swish, using it as the inspiration for a campaign that aimed to spark lively and important conversations among consumers. Introducing The Whoa Collection: an initiative that fuses art, music, and community to foster more diversity in the field of dentistry. The centerpiece of this creative collaboration was a limited-edition SKU of LISTERINE’s COOL MINT mouthwash, with bottles emblazoned in original artwork created by King Saladeen. A portion of the proceeds from The Whoa Collection directly benefited Increasing Diversity in Dentistry (IDID). We formally launched the campaign with a live panel discussion featuring Black healthcare professionals, advocates, and creatives to champion and celebrate diversity, inclusivity, and equal opportunities for Black dental students.
