Buchanan’s Scotch Whisky

Rooted in both Buchanan’s Scotch Whisky founding principal of the importance of sharing, and knowing that the Hispanic community, the brand’s core audience, was disproportionately impacted socially and economically by the pandemic, Buchanan’s and HUNTER sought to help feed families in South Florida. Through a partnership with Buddy System MIA, a non-profit dedicated to fighting food insecurity, Buchanan’s established and stocked ten public Community Fridges across Miami’s food deserts to offer free and nutritious food 24/7, and encouraged neighbors to take what they need and leave what they can. Six local Miami artists were also commissioned to leave their mark on the fridges, bringing color and vibrancy to underserved neighborhoods, while providing long term, viable food access and uniting the community in sharing.
